Banders Round up

Report from Brenden MetcalfBrenden resides in Boddington

From two mornings of netting in our garden (since Christmas), I've managed a total of 12 mulberry leaves and two Scarlet Robins... a bit on the low side, but perhaps more enjoyable than 20 Silvereyes in the net at once. Of interest, but unfortunately not in the net, is a lone White-cheeked Honeyeater that seems to have integrated into the masses of New Hollands that we have. My in-laws, about 1/2 km away on the other side of the property, also had a White-cheek amongst their masses of New Hollands but only over summer. It'll be interesting to see whether it moves on with the break of the season?
