Can you help Greg?

Would you mind forming an opinion on the sex of the Aust Ringneck I caught at home on Sunday from the 2 attached head photos. I believe it to be a male, however I would appreciate your valued opinion(s). I decided to put together a table of certain morphological data obtained from the Guide, Peter Mawson’s original draft for Barnardius zonarius zonarius and Forshaw’s parrot tome. Given that all 3 sources claim B.z.z. does not have a red frontal band (or vestigial), my bird would appear to be a hybrid. I would be very interested to hear your comments on any significance attached to the presence or otherwise of the underwing stripe. Although not mentioned on the attached table, my bird also had pale yellow/white spots on the underwing coverts.
